WFT Flip

that's not a bad prediction...WWFT won that way before...might even see a LMA of some sort. I don't know how much Cumulus knows about Christian music.

Expect Christmas music in WFT's near future.
then what would Cumless do with Sean Hannity. I'm Pretty sure they paided a bunch of money to Rip Hannity off of WXNT for WFT's Afternoon Drive spot. and there would be a lawsuit from ABC Radio networks for breach of contract for dropping Hannity just 7 Months on the air.

ABC is already shopping Sean Hannity around Indy. Not sure about breach of contract. Have you seen the contract that was executed between Cumulus and ABC? Perhaps a weasel clause of some kind was included to allow early termination by either party. You never know these days.

I think they should go All Sports!

If WXLW stays all Sports i think they have already called up Sporting News Radio for a possible affilliation save the tony bruno show since thats on WNDE. so what would WFT air as an all sports station. ESPN is going to 1070 and Fox Sports Radio is on WNDE. and most likely WXLW will align with Sporting news

WWFT isn't the only talk station realizing their blunders. WXNT has moved Neal Boortz to evenings and Glenn Beck back to the midmorning spot he was replaced in, after realizing the former had nothing to add and nothing entertaining to say.

Uhhh ... Thanks for clearing that up. I never even considered that.

Can I change my vote now? I think WFT should go Classic Rock!

SAVE JERRY DOYLE!!!!

He is the only thing that keeps my sanity on the job at night.

I repeat, someone SAVE JERRY DOYLE!!! Who will continue the excellency that is the Jerry Doyle Show? My low disposable income listenership depends upon someone SAVING JERRY DOYLE!!!

My vote is to bring back The Song. Look at the feedback on the Indy Star article. They mention that K-Love's Indy station was the first one to be fully funded in the recent fund drive. And many former listeners ask Cumulus to bring The Song back.

In Bet the Christian music is still on the hard drive.

At Shadeland they always said "Jesus is our best salesperson."

If they change and listners are dumb enough to go back thinking this is something they should support then they are deserving.

What I think is interesting is that Dave Ramsey has a live event scheduled for Nov 15! It could be his good-bye to Indy, too. I really enjoy him (been listening for years on satellite).

Does anyone have numbers on how he did here, and do you think his show will be picked up (WXNT??)

I must say I'm loving every bit of this. Cumulus made an uninformed decision to dump the Christian format simply because they didn't want to deal with anything "religious". The Song's ratings were very respectable, and Christian listeners are the most loyal and likely to respond to advertising, making it a great sell. And now, less than a year after the flip, the new format is a flaming wreck of a disaster. Way to go.

Sniff, Sniff, Sniff -I smell fear in the room.

Ad supported or listener supported, it's all the same. Fleecing the flock.

Won't happen.
I want The Bear back. That was my kind of country...but that won't happen either.

THIS IS THE BEST IVE HEARD YET! I LOVE THE QUOTE -

Honestly, if they bring back the song, I think it will be the best thing for the market!
