WFTE Gets A Simulcast

It Is Yet To Be Decided If There Will Be Overnight Automation Or A Feed Of A Music Program From A Syndication Company.

WSCA, Portsmouth New Hampshire's low-powered FM station, running a "measley" 100 watts,
has been quite successful running home-grown and liberal programming for five years now.

WFTE staffers might want to look into what they've done.

That's on Cemetery Road in Hamlin. I have to say it's in Hamlin not Mt. Cobb. Does Mt. Cobb have a post office? I get my mail from the Lake Ariel post office but I live in the Hamlin area. If you take Cemetery road all the way to the end you wind up at Rt. 590 were the new Rite Aid is. Now if you see were Bidwell Hill Road is on the map then that's were I live.

Do not take this the wrong way. It's great that you are starting a radio station but I feel that you do not need a simulcast and I hope people in that area will be able to pick up WYCY 105.3fm still.

Well tomorrow is 2/11/2011. I understand that papers were filed. I just hope that the "I" were doted and the "T" were crossed. Do not get me wrong I will be happy to see the station go on the air.

We Have 10 Days From When The F.C.C. Notifies Us That The Paperwork Has Been Accepted To be on The Air.

We Haven't Gotten That Paperwork Back As Of Yet. SOON.

Yupper buddy's we're all waiting for WFTE to get themselves signed-on, so while we wait, you guy's who live up north can twirl your toe's in the snow, whilst we here in Florida twirl ours in the warm-sand, in other word's, one not needs to hold one's breath.......!

Sign On Has Been Slowed Down By Incomplete Paperwork By The Surveyor That Mapped Out The Transmitter Site.

Waiting For The OK Then From The FCC To Begin Broadcasting. Your Guess Is As Good As Ours At This Point For The Sign On Date.

Just Gives Us More Time To Get All Of Our Ducks In A Row.

Yes, he has. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kreskin

"In 2002, Kreskin made a prediction that there would be a mass-UFO sighting over Las Vegas, Nevada on June 6 between the hours of 9:45PM and midnight that would be witnessed by thousands of people. He also stated that if there was no sighting, he would donate $50,000 to a charity. Hundreds of people camped out that evening yet no sighting occurred. On June 8, Kreskin appeared in the opening segment of the Coast-to-Coast AM radio show, hosted by Art Bell, to explain what had happened. Bell read over the air, Kreskin's press release that the sighting was "a total fabrication in order to prove people's susceptibility to suggestion post 9/11." Kreskin claimed he was concerned that a terrorist, with the skills of a mentalist such as himself, could pull a similar stunt involving something much worse and that the sighting was only an experiment. When asked however, about the $50,000 donation, Kreskin claimed there was indeed a sighting that night – glowing green orbs were supposedly spotted in the sky just before midnight and reported by witnesses after news camera crews had already left the scene. Because of this one reported sighting, Kreskin said his prediction came true anyway and he didn't have to pay the money. This statement offended Art Bell, who opined that this was a publicity stunt on Kreskin's part, and banned Kreskin from his show."

but we'll see.... ;D
