I listened to WFTL and WJNA at different times Thursday night, in the dark on my new Grundig M300BR Mini300 Handheld Shortwave World Band Radio
ir
(per my post on the Off THe Air board about 5 weeks ago).

I really wish that radio was backlit. My power went out before 6 PM Thursday and just came on at about 11 Saturday morning.

WFTL's coverage was pretty decent. When looking for other info, I discovered WIOD off the air.

Doesn't WIOD brag up-and-down about being able to count on them "when the lights go out?"..."when you just want to know what's going on."

WIOD

WIOD sounded pretty good. They were knocked off 610, but simulcast on Love 94 and Big 106. They had a new voice or two throughout the night on Thursday and it helped them sound big when they went to a dual anchor format. But their overnight guy, john something or another was a bit much. Sounded like a know-it-all.
