WFTV and WMMO

I was in a doctors office in The Villages today and the TV in the waiting room had on the HD2/ Weather feed of WFTV. In the background they have the music feed from WMMO as well as advertise the station. However I noticed something annoying, the only play 30 seconds or so of the song before switching another one. I can hear 30-seconds of "I'm on Fire" by Bruce Springsteen followed by 30 seconds of "You Belong to the City" by Glenn Frey. Why can't the audio feed just play the whole song right off of WMMO. Maybe the dolts at Cox will entice people to listen to WMMO by doing this.

From what I recall from viewing the channel, it's just a produced loop they air with songs and teases to intice you into tuning into the real station to hear more. Must just be a clever marketing idea someone had.
