WFUN 790 transmitter site

Is the transmitter site today used by 790 in South Miami the same transmitter site that was in operation during WFUN's Top 40 days ?
If not where ,when station was Top 40, was site located ?

Where was WFUN's studio/s located during its Top 40 days ?

No. That was 72nd and Sunset, IIRC. It's now West of Krome Avenue right off the trail.

Our famous WFUN studios were at 6101 Sunset Drive in South Miami.

so that was the studio in the top 40 days,6101 sunset,looks like it is a construction site now. how about the transmitter,is the present site , the same site that was used in the top 40 days ?

The transmitter was down off Sunset. It is now on the south side of the Trail, just west of Krome.
 
where on Sunset was transmitter,got a cross street ,address ,how far from studio was it,the studio was on Sunset too,correct?

IIRC it was 72nd. I used to go buy it when bicycling when I lived in Kendall.
 
What I typically do for cases like this is to go to the FCCs web site and look up the technical details for the station. I get the Lat and Lon for the transmitter. I then go to Google maps and use the Lat and Lon data to plot the location. And then street view or satellite view will confirm this.

But the site that is being asked about was changed decades ago. The 790 site today is west of Miami in the Everglades a bit west of Krome Avenue right off the trail.
