WFUV-2 Transmitter

From what I understand WFUV is using a booster to fill in some Manhattan holes.

Someone said that they are using the old WRVR tower at the Riverside Church. Is this true? Is this a tower on a building (it must be)?
And how well does it fill-in WFUV's Manhattan holes? I remember (yes I am that old) when WRVR used that tower (remember Ed Beach's jazz show?) they didn't get out of town very well, but probably were heard in the city pretty well.

I suggest you go to http://wfuv.org . There is a list of contacts. George Evans who is the Operations Manager would know that. WFUV has a new transmitter in the Bronx which has improved reception in many areas.
