WFVL

When did WFVL flip to K-Love?

An oddity of the area broadcast: WFVL and WKVC (North Myrtle Beach) are combined in the TOH ID.

Now that you mention it, it might have been a couple weeks.
I remember hearing something CCMish on 102.3 a couple weeks back. It was on a day when a lot of Myrtle Beach and Charleston stations were coming in, though, so I assumed it might be some E-skip. Then I got to where I was going, and I never thought to turn it back by there to check on it since.

I knew something was up because the nearest K-Love broadcast listed on 102.3 was in Ohio - but there was no Tr or Es occurring.

I remember seeing a few months back that Cumulus spun WFVL to EMF (K-Love parent). I remember when this was country WJSK before becoming WFNC-FM (simulcasting Fayetteville's 640), then oldies, formerly simulcast with 106.9 (originally WFVL before they flipped the calls over to 102.3 when they became WMGU), then stand-alone oldies as 106.9 went country and then the current R&B format.
