WFWO, Medina - just curious

Hey folks, anyone know off the top of their heads if Positive Radio is serious about building WFWO in Medina, NY? It's a CP for 89.7FM they applied for and got as part of the October 2007 NCE filing window. I think it was a singleton.

The only reason I ever took notice of it was just that it was 89.7 and WEOS is 89.7...that was all. But lately I got to thinking so I looked it up, and I knew "Positive Radio" sounded familiar; they're the crew that runs WMSJ and a ton of repeaters all over Maine. And their website certainly seems very Maine-centric, not national.

Hence my question: what's a Maine broadcaster gonna do with a medium Class A FM serving mostly cows out in Orleans county? (or, for that matter, in Carlisle, KY, Cross City, FL, Pelham, GA or Box Elder, SD?) Are they thinking more nationally or just decided to try for them because they could?

Before anyone starts wondering: no, I'm not terribly interested in buying the CP from them. I got enough troubles trying to put on the air the CP's I already got! ::) But WFWO could have an indirect impact on WEOS so I'm vaguely curious about it.

Well, technically WITR and WEOS do negatively impact each other. We have for years. But it's not a huge deal for either of us. And I've been chatting with their engineer lately about our plans to move to 89.5 (if we can) and how that might help WITR.
