Per the FCC website, WFXC is actually increasing their power, going from a 2.6 kW class A facility to an 8kW class C-3, but doing so at a slightly lower level on their existing tower. This is likely for the purposes of staying within the parameters of a C-3 facility and/or avoiding adjacent stations. I've posted a link below with details on the CP. They will be using a combined antenna with WQOK, which will soon move to this site, changing its city of license from South Boston, Virginia to Carrboro, North Carolina.
