WFXO to return to Sylacauga

This is great news indeed.

I wish Marble City all the best, with their new addition.

I never really understood why the station moved to Ashland in the first place. It's not exactly a bustling market or an area of growth, as far as I know. The rock simulcast with the station up near Gadsden was such an odd choice since it didn't really city grade Anniston at the time. Now, as far as I know, it's still urban but in the most rural area imaginable.

(WFXO) The station ceased operation in Ashland on Nov. 24, 2016, and began broadcasting from the Sylacauga area on Dec. 4. Taken from their web site: http://wfxo.fm/about-us/

As usual here in south Shelby County, I'm receiving W252BE ("La Jefa"), WAYE's FM translator at 98.3. :(
