WFYL now MyLife-1180

I thought Langer had his own satellite feed, not necessarily dependent on the 1060 programming in the Boston market.

I know he was feeding much of it to WPYT/660 in the Pittsburgh market, though I think he's reduced that. WPYT was tabbed to be sold to a local broadcaster in that market, but that went by the wayside due to that broadcaster's health.

Folks......I 'll bet anybody that will hit 40-50 post on this Hot AM radio station that might sweep the nation with this format change.

Langer Broadcasting's 1060/WBIX Natick, Massachusetts, which was the primary feed/program management for most Langer Broadcasting WFYL programming, went silent with the license transfer of 1060/Natick, Massachusetts to Holy Family Communications. New calls for 1060/Natick, Massachusetts are WQOM with an air date return of November 1st to the 50,000 watt facility.

WBIX/WQOM was silent for less than 24 hours. Back on the air yesterday 9/17/2010 or the day before at about 3:00PM with very conservative Roman Catholic programming. The transfer of control to Holy Family took place approximately six weeks before the November 1 date that was originally announced. For the first day back and maybe still today, WQOM appears to be operating at less than full power both day and night.
