WGAI flips to Gospel format

Elizabeth City station WGAI-AM 560; which had been mainly a talk radio station for nearly all of the last 20 years, flipped to a Gospel (technically "Contemporary Inspirational") format according to a tweet from Robert Corbin of the VARTV site from mid-September.

Haven't been up here in a while, but went to check out of curiosity as to whether this was mentioned.

WGAI is simulcasting the majority of their programming with Star 1310 (WGH) their sister station in Virginia.. What I have heard was a little locally originated programming on Sundays and they are still carrying some sports on occasion, I think it is ECU?
