WGBH Drops Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Starting 9/3

Well, this fall, there are 3 new shows premiering on PBS Kids. Super Why, Wordgirl, and Word World. And because of this, WGBH is FINALLY dropping the classic Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. After all these years. It must be because they've shown them all so many times. Anyway, this is very, very sad. :(

Well, at least that's good, but it's not the same as it being on every day of the week. However, I'm not SURE, but I THINK WENH might still be airing it daily. But it turns out that PBS Kids is starting to turn into another Nick Jr. It appears they have more cartoons and animated shows than live-action ones.

Probably being dropped because Mr. Rogers is being blamed for many of the ills of today's young people, and the Virginia Tec killings, by some of the the right-wing talkers.
