WGBP/channel 66, a channel carrying LX programming (an NBC-owned digital news outlet) licensed to Opelika, AL and has been part of the Columbus GA market since their WSWS days, is now saying on their website that they have been assigned to the Atlanta market. They have two transmitters--one in Cusetta that covers Columbus and east central Alabama and another near Warm Springs that covers west central Georgia and reaches the fringes of downtown Atlanta. It is retransmitted on WUVM-LD's 4.4 (RF 2.4).
So what's the official skinny on WGBP? Is it still part of the Columbus market or did it get reassigned to Atlanta?
