WGBX adding new sub-channel?

Over-the-air free reception has its surprising moments: I saw color bars in prime time tonight on 44.5 --- a sub-channel previously non-existent. Any idea what WGBH is adding to the WGBX roster?
???

You beat me to the punch!

Given the bouncing gray square, maybe a channel devoted to geometry?!? ;D

The Pong Channel? ;D

It's in HD. So they are probably testing 4SDs and 1HD on one stream.

The PSIP identifier is WGBX-HD, and has the full program guide of the SD.

I guess this means that WGBX will be in HD!!

It's amazing that WGBX can handle five streams of video all at once AND provide a very clean picture on all 5 virtual channels. They're obviously doing something right!
