WGBY On Comcast On-Demand (Hardly)

For some reason, Comcast has recently added WGBY-TV in Springfield to its roster of on-demand channels (the others are WGBH, but not WGBX; WCVB; and NECN). But if you click on WGBY, there's nothing there, YET. If they were going to add another PBS-style channel, wouldn't it be WGBX, WGBH World or NHPTV?
 
funny u say that i live in southeastern mass and there's a channel on there called nhptv but you cant watch it im assuming its wenh and we dont get that so im wondering why its even there i tuned to it and it says one moment please but nothing happens, is it something gonna be added soon???

As of 3:40p NHPTV HD is up and running on Comcast. Yes, it is WENH.
 
I think I figured it out - if you're in an area that already had NHPTV as the out-of-market PBS station on basic you get it on the HD feed as well. If you're in another area the station is set up in the HD channels but transmitting nothing. I don't know why this is or when it will change.
 
i dont understand why comcrap puts all these blank stations here in franklin channels 66,67,980,981,918 are all there but it just says one moment please add the new chs which we dont get and it creates more mess i dont get it!!!
