WGGB also doing HD news?

I will bet money that wggb did a lot better then wlne. 6 news was a trainwreck to end all trainwreck.
 
So far WGGB only did one newscast in HD and new graphics... last Friday's noon. They've been back in SD since, using their 2008 look. They'll be using the WPRI graphics customized with the Springfield skyline.

They got it together by 6pm, after some hiccups at 5, 11 pm and this morning was great.
 
WGGB finally launched HD news today at noon. Just certain graphics, all studio cameras, and weather graphics in HD. All the upconversions from SD to HD look horrible. They're doing zoom/stretch and whatever process they're using leaves a ton of artifacts.
