WGGH Marion

Jim Fishbine from Southern Illinois is buying... Other thread on this is in Religious Board, here... "Skip"

Jim Fishback. Not Fishbine. 20 years as a jock, got started at WGGH at age 14, worked in Cincy, Evansville, St. Louis, and others. Great guy, knows his stuff, ought to do well as an owner.

You are correct he'll be a fantastic owner. When he was a kid in Marion he set up a radio station
at his house. He worked a several southern Illinois stations before embarking on a trail that saw
him as a nationally syndicated voice for Clear Channel and voice of some major video games. Now
he's able to return home and live the dream he had all those years ago. Who hasn't had that dream,
but how many actually get to live it! Thanks for bringing Jim up...reminded me I owe him a phone call!
By the way...a shout out to Skipper T...I finally found my login info so I could write something here again.

Does WGGH still have a religious format?

Yes, and it will continue to have one. Fish is not, as far as I'm aware, planning to change much.
