WGHQ Off the Air

I was listening to WGHQ today that it was off the air! What's wrong with that? I'm sick of these problems like WBPM has over the last several months. I checked "Classic Hits 92.9" on the other side that it has some drop outs.

I guess WGHQ needs to get this thing done or the station is going to fail to the bottom of the pit. This is another huge letdown for these two stations that is going to fail someday. As for WBPM, they play too much rock! I guess WBPM will lose their listeners to go to WPDH to hear some more classic rock rather than hearing those annoying dropouts.

But on the other hand, WGHQ is still off the air. Give me the doctor!

???If WGHQ was 'off the air', how could you have been listening to it? Are you sure you had your volume turned up? How can WBPM play 'too much rock'? They bill themselves as the 'Classic Rock' station. Shouldn't they be playing ALL rock? Reading your posts gives me a headache. I'm going to have to take an aspirin and lie down....

The drop out issue on WBPM was corrected some time ago.

If you actually lived in the listening area you would know this. Don't you belong on the NYC board? ::)

Oh my God! I can't believe I am doing this but I have to agree with Disney on one of his points! While the WBPM dropouts were finally corrected early last summer, they are back over the last week or so. I had noticed over the summer, that especially on the morning show Jack Hammer would sometimes say "here in Kingston" when giving the location of a scratch and win or other live appearances. I thought perhaps that they had decided the long distance from Beacon to the transmitter site was not going to work and they leased a studio in Kingston. In any event the drop outs are back.
As far as Disney living in NYC, he is also very active on that board. He posts the same gibberish, same mention of out of market stations, in this case Hudson Valley stations and the gets the same reactions from other posters. I was searching the New York City Boards for some information and noticed he is all over the place :( ???. Although his profile lists NYC as his home and there are frequent mentions of Brooklyn He did mention once that he listens to WZCR, which he can’t receive from his home in Kingston because of splash from WBWZ. Does it Make sense? No but we are talking about Disney.
Disney, now to the second logical point you made:
Give me the doctor!
Great Idea !Now that I agreed with you perhaps I need one too!

Why the hell would listeners go to WPDH if there was too much rock on BPM? PDH is ALL ROCK! ::) Also, what does BPM have to do in a thread about WGHQ? Stop filling the board with useless crap, for the love of god!!!

WGHQ is already at "the bottom of the pit". They never register ratings. Their current format is just there to keep the station from having dead air. Theres nothing Pamal can do with the station.
