WGIR-FM & IBOC, yep.

Was driving from Manchester Saturday night and heard the tell-tale sound of Hissssssssssss on 100.9 and 101.3. Sure enough, it was coming from 101.1 (and no, not that awful "JACK" station from NYC), it was WGIR-FM ("Rock/101"). I'm afraid the IBOC monster has arrived from the mountain. BURRRRRrrrrrrrr!

Enjoy?<P ID="signature">______________

Whenever new technology comes out, there's a question. Take IBOC for example.

Radio companies: Why should we install HD transmitters when no one can get the signal?
Manufacturers: Why should we make consumer products when no one is transmitting the new HD signal?

Clear Channel is helping advance IBOC into the mainstream market, as well as other companies like Greater Media and Infinity and etc. etc.
