WGIV picking up steam as a talk station

I know that they are a gospel station but they do program talk/commmunity interest programming. I have noticed them in the news alot lately regarding their Real Talk Radio Programming with - George Dunlap, Donna Jenkins Dawson, Craig Madans. Whilemina Rembert and Tim Miciyah and Joel Ford and Jim Black--they seem to have assembled a team of heavy weights to challenge the slighted views of WBT and WDYT. I think that if they continue they could really shake some things.

I've always thought that WGIV should go in the Urban Talk direction like WAOK in Atlanta.

Good for WGIV---other than WBT, it is the only AM that booms in just south of Ballantyne, and I'm sure not going to listen to WBT. I'll have to give GIV a listen....

It should boom in- FCC database shows it with 16 kw from downtown Charlotte.
