WGME exerting growing influence over WPFO programming decisions

Last night WPFO aired a "Weather Authority" special from 6:30PM-7:30PM produced by WGME. This is, to my knowledge, the first WGME-provided programming outside of their usual "news share" arrangement established in 2007. I understand that FOX23 now operates out of Sinclair's facility in Northport Plaza. On the online front, the FOX23 website remains moribund, and the link to FOX23's Facebook page is dead.

Yes, as I stated in my original post the news share arrangement was established in 2007. In addition to the 10PM newscast, WGME also produces "Good Day Maine" Monday-Friday for WPFO. Originally "Good Day Maine" ran from 7-9A; now it runs from 7-8A. WGME has also started doing weather cut-ins on WPFO during non-news hours. WPFO now airs repeat broadcasts of Sinclair's "Ring of Honor" wresting show on Sunday nights at 11PM, too.
