WGN 720 Cancelled??

This can not be. Is this an auxiliary site for WGN being cancelled, or the whole license? The proposed modification was cancelled today Monday 12/15, but what was submitted and accepted on Friday reads as if it is a full-blown license surrender by Nexstar.

It just can't be. Someone, anyone, straighten out my comprehension of this here.

Thought there was a thread on this subject earlier, but don't see it now. Any idea what this cancellation submission was for? A CP perhaps or digital signal...
