WGN America Names Chief Marketing Officer

http://www.tvnewscheck.com/article/110042/wgn-america-names-chief-marketing-officer/format/print

It will be interesting how this plays out once Sinclair takes control of WGN America.

Brian Dollenmayer, EVP of marketing and promotions for WGN America, has taken on expanded responsibilities and the title of EVP and chief marketing officer.
In his new capacity, Dollenmayer will continue to spearhead all on-and off-air marketing efforts for the network and Tribune Studios, including all creative executions, on-air promotion and oversight of digital, social and media.

As chief marketing officer, his new responsibilities include the management of WGN America’s public relations and communications efforts targeting the network’s consumer and business segments. He will also continue to be the network’s liaison with Tribune Media’s 42 TV stations.

Dollenmayer has been a member of the network’s overall growth and transformation since joining WGN America in 2013. During his tenure, WGN America converted from Chicago’s WGN Superstation to a national cable network.
