I was noticing in the television listings for the week of June 2nd through
June 6th that "WGN America" is running a different "Classic" sitcom each
night from 8 until 10pm Eastern Time, which i assume will run earlier in
other time zones.
On Monday, June 2nd: "The Mary Tyler Moore Show"
Tuesday, June 3rd: "Barney Miller"
Wednesday, June 4th: "Taxi"
Thursday, June 5th: "Welcome Back, Kotter"
Friday, June 6th: "WKRP In Cincinnati"
I wonder if there are plans to make this a staple of doing this each week?,
of course, since it's baseball season, the chances of this happening are
slim, but maybe they should consider doing this late at night, especially
since it would air at fairly reasonable times out west, that way they can
stay away from running the same shows.
