WGN America's Yule Log Presentation

Hats off to WGN America for the most unique approach to the Yule Log I've ever seen. Though I must admit I'm younger than most of the posters on this board.

For those reading this in time, they are running the Yule Log with Old Time Radio shows as the audio. Sadly I missed half of it as I wasn't aware it was on til I did a little channel surfing. But if you like OTR you'll be in for a real treat here. Have they ever done this before does anyone know?

I only wish they could find a ay to put a block of OTR on their regular schedule. Though, what would they use for video? LOL

I wonder if other TRIBUNE owned stations like WPIX, KTLA and KTXL will do the same thing?

A very unique presentation indeed. Though it seemed that something about the fire was simulated. It didn't look real enough to me. However the OTR was fantastic and I didn't mind the fake fire too much.

KTXL FOX 40 played the standard TRIBUNE YULE LOG with Christmas Music.
