WGN anchor Mark Suppelsa to retire

It does make you wonder, but i have to take a look at the article again, but it doesn't look like he hasn't denied because of Sinclair, but he is not the only one in Chicago media radio or tv that has retired at that age, I believe Spike O'Dell was also at that same age when he retired as WGN Radio's morning host, and makes me wonder if he had seen the writing on the wall. that at the same time that he retired, the following Monday after he retired, the now late Kevin Metheney was starting as WGN Radio's program director.
