WGN - Brian Noonan's last overnight weekend show...

I am so disgusted with the "intelligent" business moves that owners/program directors/etc. make. It might look good to them on paper, but in reality they haven't a clue what is going on. Brian's show is one of the few live/non syndicated shows that I am able to pick up during the overnights.

Tonight he dropped the bombshell and let us all know that they are mixing things all up; sounds like a mess of pre-recorded shows that aired earlier in the day is what we will be treated to from now on.

So...I guess WGN AM 720 will be one less station to occupy a preset on my radio.

What a shame...

Brian, Roger, Chris, and Cody all had great chemistry on the show, it was a real joy to listen to them on the weekends. They possessed that special on air presence that kept me listening; made me laugh, maybe even shed a tear or two at times.

You guys will be greatly missed... :(

I loved listening to his show on my way to work since I have to start early in the morning and I'll miss it too.

But isn't WGN moving him or are they getting rid of him completely?

They are moving him to Sundays 6 - 9 am or pm, I'm not sure... I was in & out alot during that show & I couldn't get the times nailed down right. I don't believe they updated the website yet with the new times.

He is also on earlier in the eve. during weeknights too, I believe - unless they changed that around as well.

The guy that was on last night actually wasn't too bad, but I will miss Brian's humor & style.
