I would like to see thoughts on people on the programming decisions made by WGN Radio management the last 2 years, that was starting first with the demotion of afternoon drive host Garry Meier to WGN.FM and then they put Bill Leff and Wendy Synder in his slot, and returned John Williams to the air while he still did his main full-time job on WCCO in Minnesota. And by the end of the year Garry Meier was totally canceled by WGN Radio's management and in unemployment. And then in January of 2015 hired Roe Conn that formally hosted afternoons on WLS AM until he and his on air co-host Richard Roeper was canceled and replaced by Steve Dahl. And to make room for him, they moved Bill Leff and Wendy Synder back to their morning slot and gave Roe Conn the afternoon drive slot, and they also moved John Williams to Saturday afternoons in a 2 hour slot, and released Bill Mollar who was hosting Saturday afternoons. Then in September of 2015 they ended the 2 year run of early afternoon show hosts the husband and wife team of Bob Sirrott and Marrianne Muricano, and put newsman Steve Bertrand the Wintrust Business Lunch, and then the other 2 hours to Bill Leff and Wendy Synder giving them the time slot of 10:00-12:00 P.M. and then 1:00-3:00 P.M. And somehow all the changes to the daily lineup always involved Bill & Wendy in getting more time, and time shifted all over the place, expect for morning drive. Which if I bet if WGN Radio could, they would have Bill Wendy on all day long from 6:00-7:00 P.M. expect for I bet that they would require more then 1 hour break, which may be a 2 hour break where some part of their schedule they would get an hour off. They also made some other changes to their weekend schedule including an old-time radio program show that is hosted by Carl Amari and Lisa Wolf. And now you have Justin Kauffmann whether you like him or not hosting the Download at nights on weekdays.
