Apparently both Nexstar and TEGNA are making more cuts to clean house prior to the merger, which it appears will be approved.

Very brutal, but just another indication of the tough economics broadcast stations are operating within at present.

Sorry to see this at WGN-TV. The nine people laid off represent a significant part of their on-air programming.
