WGPA has a new board. It is a fader. WGPA is now in the 21st century. Well, they still have carts but that will change soon. And, they still have Mark Thomas. Oh well!

You mean the big submarine fader knobs (as I like to call them) are gone? WGPA was my first job in commercial radio. I still remember being trained on faders at a non-profit station and then going to 'GPA and being greeted with the scary knobs. Turned out, I wound up liking them almost as much as faders. Anyone else in the area still using the big knobs? I can't believe Timmer updated!

That is true, but it was rarely used at all even for production. It was more like a museum piece than a piece of equipment. There is a picture of it on "wynoradio.com".
