WGPB (Georgia Public Broadcasting) 97.7 FM in Rome has an application to move it's tower from MT Alto in Rome to WTSH's tower in Kingston and increase their wattage from 4200 to 17500 watts. They will remain a C3 but the signal will heard in NW areas of metro Atlanta.

THIS APPLICATION IS ONE OF THREE APPLICATIONS BEING FILED SIMULTANEOUSLY PURSUANT TO SECTION 73.3517(E) OF THE COMMISSION'S RULES. THE OTHER TWO APPLICATIONS ARE BEING FILED BY GREAT SOUTH WIRELESS, LLC, LICENSEE OF STATION WZZN(FM), UNION GROVE, ALABAMA AND BY REED BROADCASTING, LLC, LICENSEE OF STATION WRAB(AM), ARAB, ALABAMA. THE WZZN APPLICATION PROPOSES TO CHANGE ITS COMMUNITY OF LICENSE FROM UNION GROVE TO TRIANA, ALABAMA. THE WRAB APPLICATION PROPOSES TO CHANGE ITS COMMUNITY OF LICENSE FROM ARAB TO UNION GROVE, ALABAMA AS A REPLACEMENT FOR STATION WZZN(FM). THE CONTINGENT APPLICATIONS AGREEMENT IS BEING SUBMITTED IN EXHIBIT 30. THE PARTIES REQUEST THAT THE COMMISSION COORDINATE THE PROCESSING OF THE THREE APPLICATIONS AND TAKE ACTION SIMULTANEOUSLY.

WGPB WILL BE SHORT SPACED TO WUMJ(FM), CHANNEL 248C3, FAYETTEVILLE, GA. WGPB WILL PROTECT WUMJ VIA 73.215.
