WGPL 1350 Portsmouth VA

Passion 1350 plays good r and b oldies from the 70s but I don't think they stream. I just noticed the station today, they used to be religious.

If they streamed, would definitely be interested in checking them out. Only a handful of true r and b urban oldies stations still out there, though who knows maybe WDAS-AM will start a new minor boomlet.

Richmond VA had a r and b AM station around 13 14 or 15 on the dial (sorry, not sure) a few years ago. As far as I know they are still on the air. I don't live in that area but I heard it while doing some travel. They played deep cuts of 60s r and b, very local radio. I never heard of most of the songs but they sounded interesting.

I think that is WCLM AM 1450 in Richmond. They have a mix of programming in different dayparts but some classic soul is part of the lineup. I should check them out again.

I think WCLM out of Richmond is/was a brokered station. I believe Richmond urban radio legends like Kirby Carmichael and Chocolate Chip purchased airtime and resold it to make a profit. As far as "Passion 1350, WGPL" is concerned, keep in mind this is a Willis Broadcasting station so........

That'd be nice, but so far WDAS has only been able to muster a .2 although their cume at last count is above 35K.

WGPL has a lot of commercials so they might be paying their electric bill with some money left over to pay the DJs too. I wish they would stream online like they mention on the air.
