WGPR Hot 107.5 Detroit

While driving to Mt. Vernon, OH earlier today for a softball tourney I was listening to Power 107.5, as I was coming into Granville, OH I noticed another urban station fighting with Power's reception. Pretty much every red light and every valley I went down it would come in, I was thinking some station in northern Ohio had to flip to urban, the station fought with Power the entire trip was very strong the further north I drove, I head a few night club commercials then the station ID'd itself as Hot 107.5 with a webaddess of DetroitHipHop.com (or something like that) I was shocked that signal was comming in that well then. Tonight when I got back in the car to drive home Columbus' 107.5 was loud and clear, at certain points in the Mt. Vernon area Detroits 107.5 was coming in and out but not nearly as strong as it had been earlier. Just thought I'd share :)

Good spring/summer tropo action there. Up here in Vermilion, OH the Detroit FMs were blasting in. Next time see if you can get WOMC on 104.3 or WDZH 98.7 if you're heading north again and conditions are up.

I remember being able to pick up 89X (88.7) out of Detroit/Windsor in Columbus before Radio U came on the air back in the 90's. I couldn't believe how well I could pick it up on the East side of Columbus.
