WGRR

For those who would like a small sample of what WGRR sounded like for its first seven years of existence, go to www.martythompson.com, and scroll down to Who Am I, and click on where it says "here", there is a six minute WGRR Cincy Composite featuring Charlie Van Dyke promos interspersed with voices of such people as Marty Thompson, Dusty Rhodes, Chris and Janeen, Jack Stahl, Cool Bobby B, Rockin Ron, Ted McAllister, and Tomcat Michaels.

uh... isn't it 2006...?

And the first 7 years of WGRR's existence was also when the owners of WGRR were willing to go to bat for the product.

Thanks for the link....Now if only Marty remained true to the oldies as Dusty,Jack and everybody else at the new 'DJO does...hey,it still sells...and I DON'T mean Geritol or Depends...give us another twenty years before we need it then eh!

Marty can't afford to program WGRR as a 55-and-older radio station. The WDJO guys can since the overhead is so low and most of the staff is all but volunteering their time.
