WGR'S MEMORIAL DAY MISCUE

I just heard WGR's replay of THE WHINER LINE from this morning and they had a listener complaining about a technical glitch at noon on Memorial Day where the audio for Colin Cowherd's show and Jim Rome's show were heard on 550 AM at the same time.

Hey, crap happens.

Kinda surprised they would "highlight" the error by allowing a listener to mock them and then REPLAY it later in the day.

I give them credit for that.

It happened, people heard it...and it may happen occasionally, so the audience, being mostly grown-ups, get it.

I think most are alos aware that those two shows originate from somewhere else.

Good call on their part. I would have laughed if I heard that whine.
 
They mentioned it again today.

I just wouldn't bring attention to it.

It was a mistake and another sign that no one was in the building.

Damn automation. Damn corporate radio. Damn industry.
