Here's my crystal ball on the whole 990 thing.
My guess is that they will slowly "morph" into the "Voice of St. Tammany, Jefferson and New Orleans" gradually moving away from the "northshore centric" thing when they figure out they can't pull it off. Then, because no one is listening, they'll start carrying syndicated news, cutting the cost of local news people. Then, because they still they won't make money, they'll start backing off the local hosts and start filling the station with syndicated programming. Then, when the automotive investors (shills) figure out that they were scammed out of their money for a station that can't make a dime, they'll start pulling out of the deal. Trahan, the best of the bunch, will stay until the station finally just goes to all paid programming, and even then, Ken will buy time like he's done in the past and broker the commercials to his loyal posse for his Friday night and Saturday show.
