I think WGST did a great job in covering the TSLOST referendum. They had multiple debates on the topic during both the morning and PM drives, presenting spokespeople from both sides of the issue. I found myself switching from Sean Hannity to Rusty Humphries in the afternoon because he was covering this important referendum. This is where live and local talk radio really is important.
I think WGST even may have forced WSB's hand because I heard Scott Slade of all people doing afternoon's in place of Hannity a couple of days ago so they could talk about TSLOST, didn't sound right to me, almost like an afterthought. At one point Slade said he didn't want to give his opinion one way or the other and even the guests pro and against the referendum encouraged him to state his opinion, but at least in the segment I heard, he didn't. Not very good talk radio, I turned back to WGST and Humphries.
Again, good job WGST for a job well done.
