WGST Question . . .

For the other twenty-four listeners . . . How would you rate Art Mad Man Mehring's fill in performance for Tom Hughes? Any comments regarding his performance vs. Pete Davis fill ins?

I like Art. Sometimes his laugh is a little annoying and he could probably use some polishing, but overall, he's better than Tom Hughes.

I like Art's energy. He's a pro & I think his "polish" would return given the opportunity to host on a regular basis.

Me too. I used to work there on weekends as a board op. Art would often fill in for Stu Klitenic on the Sunday morning sports talk show. Art is quick witted, intelligent, and has great pipes. He's good for that station and probably deserves more than what he's getting as far as air time.

(No, I'm not Art Mehring, I just think he's cool...one of the only people I really liked when I was there. He was a pleasure to work with.)

I enjoyed Art on Sunday mornings. He was a little to chit-chatty during his recent AM fill in. Plus, I thought he could have done a better job with his guest interviews. The Princess was more direct with her assessment. She said Art should stick to traffic and wanted Pete back for AM fill ins.

Personally I think he would be a great fit on 96 rock in the afternoon!
