WGTM's license is cancelled.

It would not surprise me if they just kept on operating as a pirate. I really don't think they know any better. Idjuts.

Perquimans Co. Been hearing something on 590. Took the time today and it is Richmond,Va station that changed from 580 to 590. If someone fires up 590 in Wilson, I think the new 590 folks might complain.

Sad end to what was a great signal, use to listen to it while driving to and from Florida on I-95 in the 70's.

I actually did some production (and actually got paid) for them in the early 90's. I did that until someone handed me copy for a palm reader...then it was time to go. Anyway, my point...WGTM, even under the Willis Family had a strong signal then. I could carry them all the way to Roanoke Rapids quite listenably...and that was with WLES on 580 in Lawrenceville right beside them at that time.

sounds like Mrs Willis has been smoking weed at the time?
