WGUS 102.7 license surrendered

Beasley has filed with the FCC to cancel the license of WGUS 102.7 MHz-New Ellenton, SC. a Class A with city grade signal over Aiken, SC. It's the second FM Beasley has canceled in the greater Augusta area. In June, a Class A near Thomson GA, WCHZ, license was
cancelled by the FCC for being off the air for over a year. The 102.7 frequency allotment will now be open.

Is it so diificult to move to a different site, preferrebly one with a sister or AUX station already on it.
Just pick up the cables and hoist a new antenna up a different, nearby tower ...

If Transmitter still works and wasn't damaged,
Maybe a nearby tower, is surely possible,
but is it worth it?

Perhaps its as easy as, just simply packup, pickup, and move it to, maybe the co-owned WKXC 99.5 tower if they're lucky (at reduced or directional power) or maybe the 94.7 WAAW site, nearby and closer to Aiken

Crazee question time, but would it be possible for WPUB in Camden to possibly increase power to 25K? The closest station on 102.7 is WGNI in Wilmington. Guess I'm thinking crazee, but could it be done!

The only broadcaster that would want this allocation at auction is going to be a religious broadcaster. 102.7 does not provide a very serviceable signal to a lot of Richmond and Columbia counties, and an Aiken County only radio station is going to be a difficult sell.
