WGUY and WFZX Sold

That would make how many religious stations/translators serving the Bangor area?
WHCF-88.5; WJCX-99.5; translator on 100.7; WHMX-105.7 Licensed to Lincoln with a translator on 92.1 in Ellsworth. I'm sure I am missing a couple.

BTW I have noticed our local translator here in SW Harbor on 91.3 for Calvary Chapel has been off the air for quite some time.

Must be a lot of heathen around here to need all that preachin'!

K-Love has 2 translators in Bangor..91,5 which has a transmitter somewhere south of the airport and 93.3 (licensed to nearby Orono I think) with their transmitter north of the Bangor Mall

Wow... do you suppose they got their 1.3 million they quoted the Zone Corp?

thats a bit high these days considering CC bought 'GUY for about that price 10 years ago and just 3 or 4 years ago CC sold 97.7 WNSX for $850,000 when they bought it just a year or 2 earlier for about a million and a half

Hey, anytime CC takes a financial beating is fine with me.

May I just jump in here and welcome Bobby Russell? You, sir, captain one of the finest radio stations in the Northeast. I'm sure that most of us would love to hear more from you. Please don't be a stranger.

Not meaning to hijack a thread - but I would be a slacker if I didn't echo what the ting-ster said. Even Brussell's email address is cool.

Price revealed in Bangor
We knew that The Kalil Holding Group just sold a pair of FMs on behalf of Blueberry Broadcasting to noncommercial religious specialist Educational Media Foundation. Now we know the price. The Bangor ME-market stations, WGUY-FM Dexter ME and WFZX-FM Searsport ME, will command a $550K price tag, $325K of which EMF will pay pursuant to terms of a promissory note, as is its habit. EMF's own particular form of LMA, a network affiliation agreement, will be put into place until closing to allow the company to air its K-LOVE contemporary Christian network on the stations.
