As they state in their new commercial, as the national debt increases, WHAM 1180 is offering some debt relief to the listeners. Between 8 and noon you can win $1,000.

I always found radio contests like this amusing. Somehow the fact that they are in essence having to pay people to entice them to listen to their garbage programming is lost on station management.
 
It's just a contest. Not unlike the state lottery. People like a little excitement in their life. And radio contests have been going on since the 30s.

No worries. My misanthropic humour is lost on most people. I was never this much of a misanthrope, but then I worked in radio for 22 years.
