WHAM and CBS News

One thing that strikes me as curious that even when Clear Channel bought WOKR and flipped the call sign to WHAM and connected the two they never dropped the CBS Radio News updates in exchange for ABC News updates.

Though we should be thankful they didn't become a Fox News affliate...even Fred Thompson doesn't like them!

WHAM is a Fox News affiliate and runs their top-of-the-hour news outside of the morning drive, noon and 5pm blocks. They still carry CBS updates and news feeds.

Didn't realize that as I never listen to WHAM outside of those times(Lonsberry, Beck, Savage and Limbaugh are not my cup of tea) and they use news from CBS during the drivetime news though I wonder why they don't stick to just one. Then again Clear Channel is in bed with Fox News.
