WHAM's Randy Gorbman goes to WXXI

One of the worst kept secrets in Rochester media was 'officially' announced Monday. WHAM News Director Randy Gorbman will be leaving that station after 20 years to assume the title of News Director at WXXI.

I wish Randy the best of luck. I also joked with him that April 15th, the first day he reports for work, is the same day Lincoln was shot. ;D
 
Good for him! I wish him the best. I hope he can a decent night's sleep now.
 
We're all looking forward to Randy's official arrival. I think in recent months we've become a real talent magnet around here. ;D

I worked for Randy many years ago in the Nutmeg state. Great guy, lots of laughs and he taught me quite a bit about the biz. I wish him nothing but the best.
