WHAS-AM, Wed. 3rd April 1974

Greetings,I have been searching for any audio from the Louisville market from Wednesday, April 3, 1974. That was the day of the super tornado outbreak and the deadliest storm to hit the Louisville area since 1890.Right now, I have three half-hour segments from that evening but I am mostly trying to find the intitial tape (which I have heard in a 1994 special, which I have, about the tornado) with DJ Jeff Douglas and traffic reporter Dick Gilbert.Any help in tracking these down would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,David Stockhoff[email protected]

I've downloaded the WHAS stuff and it is excellent! Now for the $64,000 question. Does anybody have any airchecks from palm sunday 1965. Preferably from Toledo or Detroit. Of course palm sunday 65 was the original worst tornado outbreak in history. the date was april 11 1965.
