All posters-

I thoroughly enjoyed all the posts and attention to our small 1Kw WHAT 1340 signal over the past two years, between discussions on the Skin Radio experiment and Martini Lounge Radio (including the same current standards format just ID'd as AM 1340 WHAT) as well as our foray into standards only 24/7 Christmas music over the past season with all the others in the market. I just wanted to announce on the board that I am no longer with WHAT as PD/OM as of Jan 12th. This has been a very wild and extremely fun 2 years (to the date exactlly) and I wish the best of luck to the station and all the staff in the future. I had a great time, but will be moving on. The station will continue on with the same format under new direction.

Thanks, being on the "Radio Racket" was a lot of fun, and I appreciated all your support. Even being the charter advertiser on Skin Radio 2 years ago.
 
Thanks for all of you efforts at WHAT. If it means anything, for the past year or so the station has a preset on my car radio for the first time ever. As one who cut his "MOR" teeth working at the old WNEW, I really appreciated the music selection on WHAT. I think it's been pretty much right on the money for an adult standards station.

I hope things work out for you quickly.
