WHAT A DIFFERENCE 5 YEARS DOESN'T MAKE

5 years or so, give or take, Providence media was camped out downtown waiting for the Cianci verdict. WHJJ got there early. WPRO later. In fact, then WHJJ PD Bill Hess sent flowers to the WPRO camp welcoming them to the neighborhood when they set up shop. 5 years later & Buddy's still center stage & supposedly the same 2 stations are competing for him.

On a related note, I rarely listen, but does WHJJ have an actual news staff in terms of covering stories?
