What About 103.9 WFAS-FM?

What is Cumulus going to do with WFAS-FM?.....The station already plays very simular music to WPLJ and for the first time they will be going all Christmas (they air Christmas music at certain times of day now but promoting they will be 24/7 after Thanksgiving)....They are also promoting "New York" much more with their top of the hour liners even though they still use "Westchester's Best Music Variety"...My guess is that WFAS-FM will move to the Bronx and shift format at the same time they launch the new format on 94.7....But what format would be best on 103.9 given it's only a Class A??

The station's main signal will be reaching a lot more people in the five boroughs than it will reach in the suburbs. That doesn't appear too promising for a suburban format.

Nothing? WFAS is supposed to be Cumulus' answer to WHUD in Westchester, though with the disadvantage in signals it's never exactly worked out that way.

It's more or less understood that when WFAS-FM finally moves to the Bronx, it will become a NYC focused station. The only likely connection it will have to Westchester is its city of license, Bronxville.

Cumulus just named Jolana Smith as director of programming for both WFAS & WFAS-FM...Wonder what this means for 103.9 and its future transmitter move to the Bronx

Maybe it's me but I don't see any change on formats, at least not music based? But watch I say that and BOOM, we get a dance station lol :) nudge nudge. ;)
