What about us?

An Open Letter to Sirius:

I know that there are a lot of sports fans out there. I understand that basketball and football and other sports can make a lot of money for you, both in terms of subscribers and commercials. I realize that you have limited bandwidth and are doing the best you can allocating channels.

But what about us -- the seemingly forgotten Sirius subscribers who enjoy many of the talk channels, but feel left out when so many (most? all??) of those channels switch to sports coverage?

It's a shame you can't please all of the people all of the time, because my family is getting pretty upset over the pre-emption of talk channel favorites by sportscasts.

Thanks for letting me vent.

I'm getting pretty upset too but I deal with it by switching to channels that don't switch sports coverage but on the other hand I listen to sports talk. If XM can allocate separate sports play by play channels so that no talk channels are switched to sports coverage, Sirius should be able to do the same.

AMEN. I *hate* this.
